About
I’m a wife, mother, and grandmother, as well as a secular discalced Carmelite. My late son, Michael, a seminarian for the Diocese of Charlotte who studied at the Pontifical College Josephinum in Ohio, passed away unexpectedly on Divine Mercy Sunday in 2014. He had a deep devotion to the Divine Mercy, so our family is consoled by God’s grace and mercy in our loss.
Over the years I helped organize a prayer apostolate for the seminarians of our diocese, so our Catholic community could support them in prayer and get to know them better.
Recently the local college seminary asked me to sew albs, surplices, amices, and small altar linens, and I take comfort in praying for those who will use them as I create each piece in memory of my late son, Michael.
I import fine linen from Belgium for each custom-made item. I can also use other types of cloth upon request.
I am thankful to have the opportunity to offer my services to priests, seminarians and clergy who desire a finely tailored and prayerfully handmade garment.
